Damage Change

Post by Arctic on Sat Jan 26, 2013 2:27 pm

Alright, I know you guys will probably burn me alive for this, especially those of you who have a Regen-Based Custom, however, there are more than just you guys playing WoB. With how pools effect damage right now, it has effectively made releasing Shikai or Bankai (as well as the Hollow equivalent) a bad decision. Now, someone unreleased can beat someone in Segunda or Bankai because they are saving their pools. It seems to me that this Damage effect is taking away from the content of the game, especially those who have spent countless hours in Arena/Desert training the hell out of their Zan/Ress moves. Reverting back to the old ways wouldn't be too much of an issue. The Regen-Based players could keep the regen, they would just sustain their release longer, but wouldn't effect their defenses at all. Personally, I never saw an issue with how things used to be, but have seen this new "feature" be abused ever since it was implemented. I realize Lsm doesn't have some huge "Undo Coding" button, but I think this revision will make it so that Release is possible without getting PWN'D just because you released.

Feel free to light me on fire now~

Agree. Maybe then I could actually take less than half the damage make users deal to me. Considering my Gens are halfway at cap

The point is exactly to make you think twice about releasing and just unleashing all your moves on the enemy, but I will look into the numbers and see if it needs adjustment.
