Jumping Seats

I know this will just lead to more Captain's not doing OP, but I think (especially since there are now Office Items) Rank 7's should be able to jump straight to Captain's seat if there is no Captain already, and challenge for Captain's seat if there is already one.

Pros:
It will help for the Lt.'s so that they can keep their Office Items.
If a Captain is unfortunate enough to get caught by a double sweep and not have the 16 OP at the time, or have trouble being able to get on for a couple of days, they will not have to wait for the other seats to be active at the same time as them.

I will leave the Cons to be discussed.

Agreed Lyo. I for one know the items are costly and matter enough in PvP's that most won't be happy to get booted and lose that item do to laziness on a Captains part. Assuming it was just laziness and not rl issues.

Denied. Resigning for half cost has already been put in but the entire point of the items is to make people stay in their seats. The items are not supposed to be a right for everyone, they're supposed to be an advantage for those who are dedicated. If the captain is losing their seat, they need to step up.
