Answering FAIR & UNFAIR . . .

Post by Yuzen_Narukami on Thu Apr 10, 2014 8:39 am

zerocool wrote:I don't like it, zans vary so much, it would mess with existing players, and force people to switch squads if they want to take advantage of it.  This would chuck any sort of balancing out the window... also, rank 7 gets 50% & rank 8 gets nothing, how is that fair?

And now to answer to your dilemma. It is fair cuz Rank 8 guys are way overpowered compared to the rest so they don't need the boosts and rank 7 are pretty close so they should boost their own will to lvl up FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASTER  (50% for Rank 7 will do cuz if Rank 8 attacks Rank 7 he will still beat the crap out of the poor Rank 7, if Rank 7 attacks Rank 6 the Rank 7 is gonna have himself a medium to hard time but Rank 7 will still win) ! - so I don't see any UNFAIR . . . THAAAAAAAAAAAA !

Let's say you are in Division 12 for example and you are Rank 7: Spirit Boost 4.2 % (50 %= 2.1 %), Intelligence Boost 2.1 % (50 %= 1.05 %), Willpower Boost 1 % (50 %= 0.5 %), Speed Boost 1.6 % (50 %= 0.8 %), HSM Skill Boost 1.4 % (50 %= 0.7 %), this is the exact boost you will get if u are Rank 7 and you are in the 12th Division. END OF STORY Wink

Yeah, but Rank 7 can't attack Rank 6. Besides, as a Rank 7 (and future Rank Cool I don't see the problem. No halving or taking away the possible boosts. I'm all for this idea, but not the part that limits my power for ranking up.

Reply to Inazuma / New Percentages for Rank7 / 8 Boost !

Post by Yuzen_Narukami on Fri Apr 11, 2014 9:16 am

Yes, but you guys must understand that once your reached Rank 8 (You will be overpowered if you will get the full boost) and that isn't balanced anymore.

New Version: Rank 7 gets 80 % of his respective Division/ Espada Boost & Rank 8 gets 30 % of his respective Division/ Espada Boost. Now is everyone HAPPY ?

As I said, and it's up to Lsm if this idea is even implemented, let alone what he wants the percentages to be, I'm adamant in my opinion. Nothing will sway it.

The way things are currently in WoB are fine if you ask me. Next thing you will want is to be only able to roll a specific type of zan depending on which squad you are in Evil or Very Mad

Actually, I have a great idea ! After choosing a Specialization you should be appointed to a corresponding Squad based on your chosen Specialization and later on based on your Specialization you should get your Zanpakuto (it will still be random but the factor that will determine what Zan/ Ress you will get will be your chosen Specialization).

Forgot to adjust this:

3rd Division:
I. Division Specialization: Advanced Martial Arts Mastery
II. Captain Specialization: Intelligence and Information Operations
III. Insignia Signifies: Despair
IV. In-Game Boosts: Melee Boost 3 %, Spirit Boost 1.2 %, Strength Boost 1.5 %, Intelligence Boost 0.6 %, Endurance Boost 0.8 %, Willpower Boost 0.3 %, Speed Boost 3.3 %, HSM Boost 3.1 % (Master Aggressive Balanced Specialization-Type).

"-- later on based on your Specialization you should get your Zanpakuto (it will still be random but the factor that will determine what Zan/ Ress you will get will be your chosen Specialization)."

Keep in mind the people who already have their swords. As they currently go by player's chosen spec, it's fine as it is.

Hey I'll drop by to say what's going in with this suggestion: Lsm wasn't too fond of the idea of giving the squads/fraccions a theme like suggested here. Instead, with recent squad HQ revamp, the squads have been able to choose their own specialization in a form of boost.

Such as

Boss Damage boost
Base Damage boost

etc.

Sadly this has lead to 9/10 fraccions all having the same boost.

Sidenote: welcome back. Smile
