How To Make A Custom Empty How To Make A Custom

Some information in this guide is currently outdated. But the basic run-down is still good - Hitori (1 Dec 2015)
Custom Sword Creation

Requirements

  • Character must be at least rank 5 (Ranked Officer/Arrancar)
  • A total of 200 shards on-hand
  • All sword details (explained throuhout guide)


Sword Details
Detail Template:

Generally customs are Legendary ranked swords, this mini example is assuming you fall within that norm.

Complete Template Example:
The effect "None" in ability one makes it a "pure damage" ability.
The set up for ability two will be what you'd use for all self-effects, since they have no range.
With customs, you may set a preference to have a higher effect with less damage dealt, higher damage dealt with less effect or just have the ability be all effect (pure effect). Make a note to Lsm that you want this preference for that specefic ability and he will set the ability to that preference.

Where to submit
With the support system now live, you can submit your request via that area of the game (please be logged in when doing this submission). Just have the 200 shards in your posession and open the support request and paste your details in the details text area.

Miscellaneous Information
The usable tags for the abilities section are [player] and [gender]. The [player] tag will produce your username (which means no need to update if you change names); the [gender] tag will display "his" or "her," respective to your gender.
NOTE: There is not an '[opponent]' tag, so create your descriptions accordingly.

Rank 7 users can purchase a custom sword and there is no additional cost.

Most importantly, use your imagination and go all out with your descriptions - remember this is YOUR own personal weapon that nobody else in the game can use. If you can, talk to someone who has already owned and experimented with customs, their insights could save you time and shards. Keep in mind, they are not required to share any of their experiences with you, so ask politely!

Notes
1. There has been talk by older users that setting unlock requirements above the standard 100k/150k/200k will make the moves stronger. This is not the case! However, if you set them lower than the standard unlock requirements, the strength will be dialed down lower than it would be if it was left alone!

When picking your Zan/Ress release effects it would behoove you to pick at least 1 of these boosts Spirit Boost, Melee Boost, or Dual Resist. If you don't you will be at a big disadvantage at Bankai/Segunda when it comes to damage output vs a opponent your level.

Yeah also take time in picking your moves. Redoing them costs quite a bit.
If there are normal moves that do an effect and you are stuck with 5 different effects you want. Go with the one that isn't on a regular move first because you can always use normal moves. Example: You are stuck with 5 different choices for move effects. Heal, Spirit Weakness, Melee Weakness, Defense buff and offense buff. If your a Shini Heal might not be the best choice since we have a self heal move but as a Hollow it might be a good choice since they only have drain. Hell for Spirit Weakness and Melee Weakness just roll with Dual Weakness that way you have more flexibility and able to mix moves up more. Defense and Offense buffs are pretty common so they might end up being a last choice also. Every race has a boost for offense/defense and they are just as effective no matter what the rank maybe.

Also for picking moves with effects be sure to note if you want your move to be. High Effect Low Damage: meaning (move will do below average damage but rely heavily on the effect its self) (Works good for moves that nerf defense when followed by a heavy hitting move.) Average Effect Average Damage: (Will do average damage and have a average effect) Works well for any setup. Heavy Damage Low Effect: (Moves hit hard but have very little effect) (good for players who want to do massive damage over a short period of time).

The more powerful the move the more it will cost to use normally.
Moves with long range will do low damage.
Moves with short range do high damage.

For customs I don't think you have to use Gender or Player since your the one using it.

-You- don't have to use player and gender but if you don't I have to change the description manually, I use that in case name change or anything happens. However I don't really mind changing it for you, so you can do it either way.

If your playing the game its a good investment. Fully customizable Zan/Ress and the battle grid are what make this game unique.
