She gave the man she didn't know a cold stare as she turned to look at him. Bullet then took her hand like she was going to slap the stranger.Then she put her hand in front of asphalt to shake his hand "Im a member of squad 11 the war squad"

So what is the mission you are dealing with, that they had to send a vice captain level such as you here in Kyoto?"

Bullet gets a pissed off look as she gave shinku a stare. She crossed her arms saying to shinku "Oh you'll talk to him and not me huh?"

Shinku spoke, still with his head facing the piano but now, in a raised position.

Bullet remains silent as he explained why he's acting weird.But then she grabed his shoulder. "...you say your not the man i know Shinku and yet your doing nothing but following your heart. Wasn't i the one that told you if you dont follow what you think is right your not being you?"

Shinku felt the warmth of Bullet's hand over his shoulder. He never expected such response, even though it's known to her that he left for his own selfish desire. "Thanks, you are indeed a friend I was so lucky to have. Perhaps one day we'll meet again and be able to get along like the old times. But now, it would not be wise for you to speak with me. You might get caught with my sins in Soul Society."

It's about time that he treat the girl fairly as she spoke to him with pride. "And I'm sorry, this is one battle that I have to take care by myself."

Bullet heard the word fight as her eyes went wide as shinku saw her face become alive. "....did you just say a fight you haft to do your self?"

"Yes, it's something that haunts me in the past. One thing that I wasn't able to do because that time, I wasn't strong enough." Shinku clenched his fist in hatred. He bowed, trying to control the anger that is now filling him for remembering that horrid past in his village.

It indeed is Bullet, carrying the same fierce face she had when they first met. "Yes of course, me either. Till our next meeting then." Shinku waved at Bullet again giving off a half smile for the first time. It has been a long time since he smiled even as little as that. It felt good to meet an old friend, but also painful not to be able to see her whenever he wants. They're now almost worlds apart, and meeting with each other would cause them both a trouble that neither of them can ever imagine.

Asphalt walks over to Shinku. "Your friend, she's kinda cocky but she looks like she can back it up." Asphalt smiles. "Looks like she means business."

Shinku, surprised that Asphalt is still around couldn't help but to keep silent for a while and think. Indeed he failed to ask the reason why Bullet was at Kyoto. Could there be another shinigami around aside from Asphalt and Bullet? Has it already been starting?

"She always mean business. Now, aren't you two here for the same mission?" Shinku asked as he continues to stare ahead of him, still in his act of pondering.

Asphalt looked serious. "Honestly, I have no idea." Asphalt sat by the piano and played famous Jazz pieces.

"Maybe we are here on different missions but it looks like you're the center piece of it all." Asphalt says in the middle of his performance.

Shinku flinched. As he has thought, it wasn't merely an accident that he met both of them at the cafe. He wouldn't want too come quickly into conclusions though that he kept his calm as he remained beside Asphalt.

"I see. I hope you're not aiming to drag me back to Soul Society though." He said in an accidental sarcasm but actually just meant to joke around although he hasn't done such ever since.

"That would be good news then." Shinku simply dismissed the matter as it is or has he really did? They doesn't want him, does that simply want it that way or is there another plot meant for him. "You really do like the piano don't you?" He tried to shift the conversation hoping that something would come up again later on.
