Re: Races Need Balance!
Shinigamis happen to be the more popular race. To restrict which race to choose wouldn't be a very wise idea.
The biggest difference appears to be in students and squad members. Most people quit at lower ranks, which sort of nullifies the differences. The fact that there are more hollows than shinis either makes new players choose shinigami side for them having more people, or hollow side for them having less (alongside other reasons).
Can't think of a good way to balance the difference myself, nor much of a need...

Race: Hollow
Re: Races Need Balance!
I don't think he said anything about restricting race choices..
Only that there should be a balance.
However, I don't see an imbalance when it comes to players who are actually active. Hollows have more race points.. Not really a losing situation.
Maybe this topic should be, "How can we bring in more players who will join the Hollow side and/or be active?"

'Twas a mere thought said aloud.
If there are suggestions of How can we bring in more players who will join the Hollow side and/or be active?, they're welcome if deemed necessary or proven to be good.

Race: Hollow
Re: Races Need Balance!
well its like most of the shinis are now turned into hollows, and most hollows active have gotten strong, or i can say only strong hollows are more active, and when a new player join shini side, becomes a squad members, they go to kyoto to get AP, the hollows get more and more lucky...
while we shinis hardly find weak hollows to kill and get squad points and activate a boost, so that we can train faster.... but you see as hollows get lots of weak shinis to kill frequently and get lots of there fraccion points and get to activate boosts that helps them train more...
and ones a stronger player holds his/her ground in kyoto, no other weak one can go there to get AP and train more, hence its basically like this that hollows are getting stronger and shinis more weak...
people with no aura is bound to go to kyoto to get AP and train... by balance i mean is that there should be at least a red zone like it used to be, coz higher rank people get more stats from timed training, and as you know AP training gives more stats, so if a person is unable to get even AP to train, how are lower rank people are suppose to catch up with strong ones?
the red zone should be there so that people of lower rank atleast gets a chance to train and rank up...
either the red zone or a rank restriction should be there to maintain balance...

Kinda tl;dr, but uh just a few months ago hollows were weaker and we couldn't go to Kyoto o.o Now it's the opposite way. You guys should try to get your stronger players to help protect you in kyoto.

Lol, you was a Shinigami first. xD Wut ish j00 tawlkin' aboot?Tachi wrote: and we couldn't go to Kyoto o.o
Hollows might not have always had more exp, but as we all know:
More EXP =/= Stronger
There was quite a few crafty Hollows who used the PvP System to their advantage to fight, if they didn't just hunt for weaker Shinigami. Even back then, the strongest Shinigami were quite lazy when it came to protecting n00bs (these are also the reasons Hollow always has more race points, even before the reset, besides n00bs constantly running into their death).
If we're talking about today, most of the strongest Shinigami(or ones who had the potential to be the strongest) went to the Hollow side. While the others became inactive. =|

Re: Races Need Balance!
Hmmm what had happened to make Hollow the stronger race was most the active Shini or now retired or quit what ever you wanna call it and the few unfaithful ones went Hollow. Lol when Tenkai, Anon, Takeru, Break, Lethal, Sage, Itachi, and Capone and I were all active Hollows couldn't step into Kyoto now look at the Shini list all they have is Sage and a couple others. Tenkai retired, Anon went almost completely inactive, Take dosn't log on anymore or rarely logs on haven't seen his exp budge much, Break manages the game so he doesn't play competitively anymore, Lethal betrayed along with Itachi , Capone's exp hasn't moved so I guess he went inactive, I retired also, Don't know what happened to Psycho guess he retired too, Oir was another strong Shini but he didn't PvP much same as Fuku she has high exp but doesn't PvP often. The game is full of a bunch of new comers, old players retired and new ones became stronger now its pretty much a whole new playing field XD
Re: Races Need Balance!
Sorry Shinis
My hands are full also I'm bored waiting at Kyoto most of the time.
I like when I step on enemy's lair.. fights will begin at once.
That's what I'm doing on my other game.. v.v
Oh yeah.. many retired and I'm kinda sad about it maybe because I heard that there's 3.5 moves in Hollow's side which Shinis don't have, and they got disappointed. I don't know how true it is.
Also after I survived 2 consecutive fights, no way out to survive on my next 3rd fight.. Novelty Shop is broken in Kyoto and spamming back to Soul Society is not working either.

Yup + its no point of going to Kyoto when you have aura ^_^ I'm pretty much retired for good now, back into my MMORPG phase and off of the text based games for now.
