how reflect works

Ive learned that the stronger you are the stronger the reflect but i think this is unreasonable

why not just have reflect do a set amount of damage for every few levels the move higher the level the higher damage you can deal back is 1000-1500 being the max reflect can deal

or a higher percent of damage you can deal back less than 75% Dx id say 20 something would be ok

there's a lot of factors that go into reflect, defense being one of them

i know about defense being one and how its "the only way to fight beserks" but non dr or any resists against it is a pain

and even then it does a good amount of damage

oh and btw 1000-1500 would be ridiculous for rank 7, since zan heal effect can go up to 1700-ish at level 100 with 11% heal

Damage Reflect Seal is essentially a percentage of your attack. e.g. 30% is dealt onto yourself instead of you opponent. So just get more defenses and hope the next time you attack yourself, it doesn't hurt as much~

Wrong, the full damage of the attack is done to your opponent and x% of it to yourself. Your opponent does not miss out on how hurtful your attack is.

Reflect is effectively a high powered recoil move that gets placed on the opponent for about 2 or 3 rounds. Reflect is based on the damage that could be dealt with the attack. The defense of both the attacker and the defender.  The higher the defense of the reflector the more damage that the attacker will take.  The lower the defense of the attacker, the more damage the attacker takes. The more damage the attacker can do, the more damage the attacker takes. This move effectively takes an enemies strength and turns it into their weakness. If they don't use some of the options below they will not survive the effect.

Because of the way this can stack it affects Berserk users and heavy hitters the most. (as intended)

It can be countered by...
1. Not getting hit by it.
2. Using DR to try to increase your defense.
3. Using an Aoe or other low damage, high residual move.
4. Don't attack for the duration of the effect. (if move is spammed this doesn't really work.)
